What is the meaning of Trusted Quid?

    Meaning of Trusted Quid:

Trusted Quid is two separate words in the English language. They mean the following:

    Trusted:

    ADJECTIVE

    regarded as reliable or truthful.

    Quid

    NOUN

    BRITISH

    informal

    one pound sterling.

When put together the two words actually form a very clever name for a loan company. The name ‘Trusted Quid’ gives a sense of security around money when you are applying for a loan. They are implying that they are a trustworthy company, especially around money.

    How the company works:

Applying for a loan online with Trusted Quid is very fast and easy. The online application shouldn’t take you any more than 10 minutes and you will receive a decision about your loan within minutes of submitting your application form.

On the application form, you will be asked questions about your personal details and also your financial situation.

If you are accepted for a loan with Trusted Quid, you should receive your money the very same day. It will be transferred to your bank via faster payments.

     Repayment method:

Repayment for your loan is done by Continuous Payment Authority. The payments will be deducted directly from your bank card using the details you provided on your application form

This is a convenient way to pay because the payments will be taken automatically, meaning you don’t need to worry about forgetting payments.

If CPA isn’t convenient for yourself then you can cancel it by contacting Trusted Quid directly. If you do this, you will need to provide them with another method of payment, such as bank transfer or online payment.

These methods are not automatic, so you must remember to make payments yourself each month.

Do I need a bank account?

You will need both a bank account and a debit card also, that is attached to the same bank account to be eligible to apply for a loan with Trusted Quid.

To be eligible to apply for a loan you must fit the following criteria:

    Age

All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old to apply.

    In the Press

In March 2018, Trusted Quid admitted that they had a data breach in their systems, ultimately resulting in over 66,000 customers personal details being stolen.

The personal information that was stolen included name, phone number, date of birth, address, income, loan details, employment details and bank account information.

The incident included any customers who applied for a loan on their website between 1 July 2016 and 17 February 2018.

Shortly after this incident, Trusted Quid and Trusted Cash Limited went into liquidation and are no longer offering loans to customers.

They are no longer authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
